Triad brings together three extraordinary Hudson Valley musicians: Joe Veillette, the legendary Woodstock luthier and guitarist whose instruments have graced the hands of James Taylor, Dave Matthews, and Brian May; his daughter Jasmine Veillette, a remarkable performer who's been singing since she could barely reach a microphone; and Dorraine Scofield, a seasoned singer-songwriter and fiddler whose voice has been called "clear and smokey" — a Hudson Valley treasure who has graced stages from Levon Helm's Midnight Ramble to festivals across the region.

Together, they weave originals, classics, and hidden gems into three-part harmony that gives you chills.

Hailing from the Central Catskills and born in the barn of WDST radio personality Jim Rauter, the band features songwriter Lisa Light (formerly of The Lovemakers), lead vocalist Alexandra Martin (Lali), bassist and vocalist George Quinn, trumpeter Chris Stearns, and guitarist Jim Rauter, who mixes swing classics with playful audience interaction.

Known for their dynamic musicianship and high-energy performances, Novus Cantus blends world-rock fusion with influences from rock, flamenco, and Middle Eastern styles. Their set features original music alongside reimagined covers from bands like Jefferson Airplane, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, and Rusted Root.

Featured on WMHT’s AHA! A House for Arts and Albany’s Local 518 Sessions, the group has performed across New York City, the Hudson Valley, and the Capital Region. They’ve also earned three Eddies Award nominations, including Best World Music Group.
